The head of state conducted a visit to meet with national troops in the Pokrovsk area on the start of the week. Zelenskyy announced that he met with soldiers at the military base of the first unit of the state defense force Azov, which is managing protective maneuvers in the Dobropillya area, a location approximately a short distance from Pokrovsk.

Volatile Circumstances in the Region

Updated analysis from a Ukrainian project showed that opposition armies had made gains into Pokrovsk and its environs, though a large portion was not fully held by both forces. The situation remains critical, with updates indicating that Russian forces were fortifying positions and enhancing fortifications in some districts.

Invading troops continue to advance in the Pokrovsk sector and seem to be functioning with increasing comfort within the city proper.

Research institutes commented that national troops had liberated a significant portion of a Russian penetration in the Dobropillya front, on the east side of the Pokrovsk campaign.

Kyiv's Drone Strikes Inside the Federation

Ukrainian long-range drones attacked an industrial plant approximately 1,300km inside Russian territory at the city. Local officials announced a detonation at the Sterlitamak facility that led to the partial collapse to be compromised, adding that the origin of the detonation was unconfirmed. The national defense command stated there was considerable damage to the complex.

Ukraine's military said it struck a fuel processing plant at the city in the Russian region east of Moscow. The extent of the damage was under evaluation. The local official verified an assault by numerous aerial vehicles near Kstovo.

The federal republic plans to raise its military aid to Ukraine by three billion euros next year to about €11.5bn, the finance ministry in Berlin said on the start of the week.
